John Muscat BA (Hons), LLB (Syd), DLP (NSW College of Law), GradDipMgmt (AGSM)
John graduated in Arts (Honours) and Law from the University of Sydney in 1987, when he was also admitted to practise as a solicitor in New South Wales. In March 1999 he was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia. Since 1987, John has practised in a large commercial law firm and for an extensive period as an in-house solicitor at one of Australia's largest insurance companies, before establishing BGL Legal.
John has a longstanding association with the inner west and has acted for clients in conveyancing, leasing, family law, wills and probate, guardianship and powers of attorney, including in the Guardanship Tribunal of NSW, neighbour and council disputes, personal injury, victims compensation, debt recovery and business documents.
He is a member of the Law Society of NSW, the City of Sydney Law Society, the Balmain-Rozelle Chamber of Commerce, and the St Joseph's Rozelle Finance Committee.
